YOUNGSTERS have appealed for changing rooms at their new sports pitch.
The turf is growing at the new football field in Middleton St George, near Darlington, and young players have asked the parish council about the possibility of building changing rooms.
Members of the parish council discussed the idea at its meeting this week and have approved the work, providing enough funding can be raised.
Councillors hope to acquire the money by applying for grants and aim for the work to be done in January or February next year.
Early estimations show the work could cost about £40,000.
