A second man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Dean Pike.
The 11-year-old died and his pregnant mother, Janine Dodd, 29, was injured in a blaze at their home in Sunderland, in June.
Terry Majinusz, 44, of North Bridge Street, Sunderland, was also charged with the attempted murder of Ms Dodd. He was remanded in custody and will appear at Newcastle Crown Court on Tuesday August 9.
Neil English 42, of Chester Road, Sunderland, has been charged with murder and attempted murder.
