A youth theatre production of Mother Goose in County Durham could help hatch a career or two in showbiz.
Youth Connection will put on the show at Roseberry Comprehensive School, Pelton, from next Wednesday to Friday. Formed 16 years ago, the group has been the springboard for youngsters seeking the spotlight.
It aims to give senior pupils at the school, past pupils and members of the community the chance to experience drama work.
There will also be a gala performance next Saturday, in Chester-le-Street Civic Centre, in aid of the council chairman's charity fund.
The show will start at 7.30pm and tickets costing £4, or £3 for concessions, are available by phoning 0191-387 1919.
