SANTA will swap his sleigh for a milk float for a delivery with a difference.
Associated Co-op Creameries is helping to spread the word of a Christmas party to hundreds of children by commissioning a specially-decorated milk float.
Santa will be joined by a live band as he delivers invitations for the event during tonight's round in the Southfield area of Middlesbrough.
As an added treat, carol singers will distribute sweets and mince pies to everyone they meet.
The party, which organisers hope will attract more than 100 children and their parents, will be held at St Aidan's Church Hall, from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday, and will include drama, face painting, a bouncy castle, games and prizes.
Entry is free, and it is being hosted by Santa, with guests including Postman Pat, Barney the Dinosaur and Mr Snowman.
