A DARLINGTON pool player will be competing against the world's best next year.
Peter Allison has qualified for the Embassy International Pool Tour, which starts in February. He will play in five events and hopes to secure enough ranking points to allow him to turn professional.
Peter, 26, of Drury Street, has managed to secure a sponsor.
Taxi firm Abbacab has agreed to help him, but he is still seeking more help to allow him to fulfill his pool dreams.
"Things are going well for me, but if there are any other individuals or businesses who want to support me I would be very grateful," he said.
