A MOTHER has retrained to give youngsters in Hartlepool a sporting chance of success.
Susanne Clark, of Hartlepool, has been appointed Sports Development Officer for Young People in North Hartlepool.
She is one of five parents who run a series of after-school sports sessions after qualifying as community sports leaders.
After two years of hard work and personal development Mrs Clark is qualified as a netball, basketball and football coach.
She said: "I feel thrilled to be part of such a well-motivated team and to be working with an organisation which is so beneficial to the people of Hartlepool."
