A LIBRARY leaflet led to a blast from the past for a Teesside woman.
Until her friend picked up a leaflet from Redcar Library, Ann Stinchcombe had never thought of going back to school, but she was intrigued by a description of a short course in women's history at the South Bank Women's Centre, and decided to try it.
Several months on, she has completed her second history course and is now taking part in computer classes.
The 45-year-old, from Redcar, said: "I liked that fact that the first course was only nine weeks long, and you didn't have to commit to a long stretch. I had no idea what to expect but the history was very interesting. Now I want to conquer my fear of computers."
