AN information day has been arranged to help old people keep warm this winter.
Age Concern County Durham and a number of other agencies have arranged the free information and taster day at The Derwent Suite at Stanley Civic Hall next Thursday.
Programme coordinator for pensioner help group ActivAge Mike Bridge is helping to organise the event. He said: "The sessions are aimed at anyone older than 50 and will approach issues such as heating your house for less, healthy eating, gentle exercise and accident prevention within the home.
