MEMBERS of The Socialist Alliance in the North-East are being invited to attend a public meeting, tonight.
The theme of the meeting, in the Larchfield Street sports centre, Darlington, is globalisation, and how big business is starting to control all aspects of international life.
The main speaker will be John Charlton, academic and author, who is writing Globalisation and Resistance in 2000.
More than 160 candidates will be representing the Socialist Alliance and Scottish Socialist Party in the next General Election. Tonight's meeting starts at 8pm.
