VISITORS to the MetroCentre can pick up more than just their shopping this weekend.
The Gateshead shopping centre's seventh Bride and Home Exhibition started yesterday, and will run until tomorrow.
Shoppers can take a look at the latest spring fashions and home furnishings, picking up ideas about what a bride and groom need for their big day.
More than 50 exhibitors are offering advice on things from wedding dresses and cakes to wedding cars and home decor.
Brides-to-be can see the latest styles of bridal wear at fashion shows taking place regularly in the Town Square, including a selection from some of the centre's own retailers.
Christine Cartwright, Estee Lauder beauty demonstrator, will be giving make-up demonstrations. The fashion shows will run in Town Square today at 11am, 1pm, 2.30pm and 4.30pm, and tomorrow at 11.30am, 1pm and 3pm.
Feng Shui demonstrations will be held in the Exhibition Square today at 10am, noon and 3.30pm, and tomorrow at 12.15pm and 2pm.
