DETECTIVES are on the trail of early morning thieves who are stealing organic milk from people's doorsteps.
Three such thefts have been reported in two days to police in Darlington, who successfully cracked a similar persistent problem in the same area of the town before Christmas.
The thefts of milk delivered to doorsteps by Acorn Dairies happened in North Road, between 3am and 7am on Monday and Tuesday.
