INNOVATIVE band Urban Strawberry Lunch are bringing their own style of music to the North-East this week.
The four piece, who will play Darlington Arts Centre tomorrow, decided on a dramatic change of direction, after a fire swept through their studio, destroying their instruments.
A lack of cash meant the band was unable to replace them - so they made their own.
Anything and everything was used, including an archery bow, a vacuum cleaner motor and a fishing line, as well as other items.
They have since appeared on Top of The Pops and many other television and radio shows.
Their tour, called Sonic, is described as "spellbinding musical alchemy that fuses urban melodies with funky fresh beats and floor-shaking bass".
Tickets for Urban Strawberry Lunch's only performance at the arts centre, which starts at 8pm, are available by calling the box office, on (01325) 486555.
