A SERIES of weekly concerts has been arranged to be held in a Victorian park.
The first band to perform in the programme at South Park, Darlington, will be Shildon MSC Band on Sunday.
The programme will run until Sunday, August 19, and bands will perform between 3pm and 5pm.
After this Sunday's opening afternoon, the following bands are scheduled to play the event: Cockerton Prize Silver Band (June 17); Hurworth Concert Band (June 24); Trimdon Concert Brass Band (July 1); Durham Mechanics and Ferryhill Silver Band (July 8); Billingham Silver Band (July 15); Hurworth Concert Band (July 22); Pittington Brass Band (July 29); Aycliffe and Brancepeth Brass Band (August 5); Yarm and District Band (July 12); and Cockerton Prize Silver Band (August 19).
