THE mysterious death of a 19-year-old woman is being investigated by police.
Inquiries are continuing following the death of the woman in Whickham, Gateshead, on Sunday.
Shortly after 7pm police were called to an address in the town following reports of a young woman's death. A post mortem examination was carried out by a pathologist, but it proved to be inconclusive.
Two men from the Gateshead area, aged 21 and 24, have been arrested for drugs offences and both have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
