Sedgefield Town Council is holding a fireworks and lantern display in the grounds of Ceddesfeld Hall on Saturday, November 3, at 6.30pm.
Admission will be £1 for adults and 50p for children who must be accompanied.
Town clerk Lesley Swinbank has advised that no private fireworks or sparklers will be allowed at the event.
On the same day, children between nine and 13 will be busy in Ceddesfeld Hall from 11.30am to 1pm making lanterns for the show
