PARISHIONERS have joined forces to organise a sale to raise money for their church.
The sale of work will take place at St James the Great Church, Albert Hill, Darlington, on Saturday, November 10.
People from the parish will sell home-made candles, cakes and preserves for the fundraising drive.
Stephen Edmonds, assistant director of music at the church, said: "We are always seeking to raise funds for the care of the fabric of our church buildings and to help maintain the provision of pastoral care in the parish.
"It is only through the hard work of our parish priest, Father Ian Grieves, and the commitment that he inspires in our parishioners that such a full programme of events can be run in the area."
The church is celebrating its 125th jubilee.
The sale of work starts at 2pm
