AN after-school and holiday club for disabled children in Darlington has received £1,950 from the Abbey National Community partnership.
The Darlington After School and Holiday (DASH) club will use the money for equipment and to meet the costs of playcare services.
It runs specialist and integrated play-schemes for around 190 disabled children, as well as an after school club.
Chris Thwaites, project organiser, said: "This generous donation by the Abbey National will enable us to purchase some more specialist equipment."
