THE Tyneside office of global project and cost consultant Faithful&Gould is enjoying a period of intense activity, having picked up a number of new projects.

Two projects have been awarded by Northumbrian Water. The first provides the consultancy with an involvement in a programme of work on combined sewer outfalls and flood relief schemes.

The second is an appointment to provide quantity surveying services on the North Northumberland pipeline project at Holy Island.

The Royal Bank of Scotland has appointed Faithful& Gould's building surveying department to run a planned preventative maintenance programme for its branches throughout the North-East.

In the Wearside area, Faithful&Gould is providing support for the £3m High Usworth School, on behalf of the City of Sunderland, working alongside Howarth Litchfield Partnership, White Young Green and T&G Armstrong.

The Railway Housing andBenefit Fund has appointed it for phase two at the £1m Hundens Lane scheme, in Darlington.

It is also providing support services and procurement strategy for University of Durham on the redevelopment of 96 student residences for Van Mildert College and has recently been appointed to provide services for a programme of shower refurbishment works at both Van Mildert and Gray College.

Finally, on Teesside, Faithful&Gould has been appointed by Endeavour Housing Association to carry out roofing repairs to houses in the Stockton and Middlesbrough areas.

Regional director David Dent said: "These projects provide only a snapshot of the range and depth of work in which Faithful&Gould is involved within the region.

"We are enjoying a period of significant growth as part of our planned expansion in the North-East."
