SPECIAL school pupils have written their own soap opera and produced a magazine.
The students from The Meadows School, Spennymoor, have been working with writer and poet Andy Croft, who was the poet in residence for the Great North Run last year.
Mr Croft has been working at the school on one day a week for the past six weeks, helping students to explore their more creative side.
The soap opera is called The Paddocks School and portrays life at a school not unlike The Meadows. It is hoped the magazine, The Meadows Mish, will become a regular product
