Frankland extended their lead at the top as a full set of fixtures finally were played this week.
They entertained lowly Darlington and ran out comfortable 6-1 winners. Ian Gibson led the way with a hat trick whilst Phil McVay, Malcolm Penney and Peter Jobling scored a goal each. Neil Baker scored this sides consolation goal.
Newcastle West and Easington shared four goals and the points in a 2-2 draw at Westerhope. Dave Oakes and Keith Smith got the Newcastle goals.
Durham HQ returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Derwentside at Aykley Heads in a late reversal of fixture. Thus ended the Durham sides' three game losing streak and in turn put them in good heart for next weeks Cup semi-final against Easington. Andy Guest and Steve Seddon gave Durham a two goal lead with Andy Liddell scoring for Derwentside straight after the second Durham goal. HQ defended resolutely to withstand lots of Derwentside pressure.
Langbaurgh launched themselves to fourth spot, their highest position for years, with a hard fought 3-2 win over Saints. Darren Hart scored on his debut for Langbaurgh, with Matt Lymer and Dave Cheesebrough getting the other goals.
Durham and CLS gained a psychological advantage over Washington ahead of their Cup semi-final this week, when they beat them 5-2 in the league. Ellis-Hall scored a second successive hat-trick for the Durham side, with Paul Jackson and Any Davies getting a goal each. Despite only having nine men, Washington scored twice through Andy Kerr and John Wardropper.
Durham Fire completed the double over Sedgefield with a 3-1 win. Steve Holcroft put the Fire Brigade ahead after ten minutes only for Billy Crampsie to equalise in his first appearance after a length injury lay-off. In the second half, the Fire Brigade twice caught Sedgefield on the break to score with goals by Richie Morgan and John Golightly.

Two goals in the first half hour from Paul Proud and Andrew Roberts gave Airport Church a 2-0 lead at Jesmond Parish Church. Andy Widdrington scored on the stroke of half time with no more goals in the second half enable to Airport to win 2-1 and do the double over Jesmond this season.
Stakeford Methodist Church caused an upset with a fine win over Consett Methodist Church. Paddy Cunningham, David Wilde, Mark Munley and Graham Barr gave Stakeford a 4-0 lead. Neil James scored a brace for Consett with Chris Scott and a second from Cunningham making the score 6-2.
At Hartlepool Matthew Turnbull gave Stranton Saints the lead before half time Andy Brammel of Heaton equalised. Martin Skirving put Stranton back in the lead. A double from Rick Simpson gave Heaton a 3-2 lead Chris Barlow tied the match to finish 3-3.
Steven Smith scored after ten minutes for Whitley Bay Church at home to Heworth Christian Fellowship and held on for the other eight minutes to win 1-0.
Two penalties from Ronnie Smith of Bethany Christian Centre was not enough in their against Jesmond Parish Athenians who went 4-0 ahead from a Jason Alexander hat-trick and a shot from Ian Tew before Smith got his double. Keith Chambers also scored a double for Athenians who went on to win 6-2.
All square at 1-1 at Saint Peter's Low Fell with Sammy Charlton netting for the Saints and Andrew Sword equalising for Lanchester Chapel. Rob Laybourne scored twice and a shot from Steve Wort gave Saints a 4-2 win. Sword getting his second Lanchester's second.
A Dean Swanston own goal gave Yarm Emmanuel a 2-1 lead with Ryton Churches. Tim Boyes opened the scoring for Yarm. With Steven Gilmour equalising, Swanston goal then an equaliser from Bryan Gilmour tied the match 2-2 at half time. Bryan Gilmour got a second, Peter Sutherland scored twice and an own goal from Yarm's Lee Dale gave Ryton a 6-2 win.
Middlesbrough Baptists' moved into a 3-0 lead at Whitley Bay Baptist Church, two from Ian Marshall and Andy Mullin. Jordon Murphy pulled a goal back for Whitley Bay, but two goals from David Dixon made a 5-1 win for Middlesbrough.
Fowler brothers John and David gave Westgate Road Baptist Church a 2-0 lead. Jeff Brown, Jason Cochrane and a pair from Simon Richardson put Jesmond Parish Church into a 4-2 lead. Steven Valentine scored twice for Westgate to end the match 4-4.

Strong winds and heavy conditions underfoot affected all of the games. D&E Locksmiths ran out 5-0 victors over Big W but the scoreline would have been closer had Big W taken their chances. Stephen Gorden put D&E in front before the interval then Tony Knight added number two. Gordon got his second and Anthony Price made it four. Big W kept plugging away with no luck and Tony Wright wrapped it up with number five.
Station Hotel (Boosbeck) let a 3-2 lead slip to draw 3-3 away to Haverton Hill. Neil Owens put Haverton Hill one up then Craig Griffiths put Station back on terms. When Peter Day and Martin Marsh made it 3-1 Station looked home and dry. Steven Green pulled one back and sub Carl Eddon scored with his first touch the points were shared.
Boosbeck St. Aidens pulled off a 2-1 victory at home to Jack and Jill. Again missed chances proved costly for Jack and Jill and St. Aidens took advantage. Michael Bennison opened for St. Aidens then added his second from 20 yards. Joy Webber pulled one back from the spot but St. Aidens held out for victory.
Cleveland Inn beat Priesfields by four games to 0 but not without a fight as Prestfields dominated play in the first half with no luck in front of goal. Once Cleveland Inn broke through they upped their game to go on and win. Two goals from John Ryan and one each for Criag McCabe and Eddie Fallow.
Stockton Double Glazing went down 5-1 at home to Iceland. James McGowan with a hat-trick and a brace from Paul Muthana doing the damage, Graeme Watson scored Stocktons consolation.
Poverina beat Priory for the second time this season. A 2-0 victory was enough to send Priory home pointless. Stephen Parkes scored for Poverina in the first half. Keeper Colin Smith and central defenders Gary Morrs and Paul Lennox blanked out Priory's forwards and a late strike from David Plummer saw Poverina home.
