POLICE are growing anxious for the welfare of a teenage girl who has gone missing.
Nadia Aziza Sakr, 15, has not been seen since Saturday afternoon, when she told her mother she was going to Gateshead's MetroCentre with a friend, and left her home in Burnip Road, Murton, County Durham.
Nadia is described as 5ft 4in, of slim build, with an olive complexion, brown eyes and long, dark brown hair.
When she left home, she was wearing denim jeans and a jacket, a pale blue and white striped top, black-heeled boots and two sets of hooped earrings.
Anyone who has seen Nadia is asked to ring Seaham police on 0191-581 2255.
