INDUSTRIAL units are ready for occupation following a £275,000 refurbishment.

Work has been completed on the units at Leechmere Industrial Estate, in Sunderland, by Lamb and Edge's building consultancy, on behalf of owners LNC Properties.

It involved extensive external redecoration works and general landscaping, with the vacant units being stripped out and cleared of all redundant fixtures and fittings.

New doors were fitted and external steel shutters provided on all windows. A palisade security fence was erected to the rear to create a secure yard and parking area.

Jason Carr, of Lamb and Edge's building consultancy, said: "The units are now ideal for immediate occupation.

"They have been modernised and are clean, secure and highly marketable.

"The work enhanced the external appearance of the estate, and the refurbished interiors provide flexible, efficient and attractive units."

Lamb and Edge is letting the nine units, which range in size from 3,664sq ft to 12,000sq ft.

Current occupiers include Plumb Centre and NPA Limited.
