A HOSPICE is appealing for unwanted foreign currency.
A spokesman for Hartlepool and District Hospice said: "With the introduction of the euro, many foreign coins are unusable. By donating currency, people can give much-needed funds to help the hospice provide free specialist care."
The hospice is urging people to search homes for coins.
