A COMMUNITY group has raised £10,000 for charity in the past 12 months.
The Rotary Club of Redcar raised the cash through various events including a trolley dash and Christmas raffle. It has made donations to local and national charities including £1,000 to Cancer Relief.
The rotarians, who have recently taken a trip to HM Bark Endeavour at Whitby and held a treasure hunt around Redcar, are open to new members. Anyone wishing to know more should call Eric Whitehead on (01642) 325912.
