Tow Law Area League

Tow Law Station lost their top spot when they visited Tow Law new Market A and only collected two points when there were singles wins from Bill Kitching and Michael Bell. The home side had singles points from Gary Parker, Kenneth Atkinson, John Parkin and John Graham to add to their three doubles.

Tow Law New Market B took over the leadership when they only dropped three points on their trip to Sunniside Comedian.

The New Market B are now one point ahead of the Station, who lead Esh Stag's Head by one point.

Crook League

Crook Mill House, who were the runners-up last season, aim to improve on that and made a great start to the new season when they came through to beat the visiting Crook Coach and Horses A in the decider. In the decider the Mill went to victory when Stephen Heyes beat Adam Martin.

Crook King's Head celebrated their return to the league when they visited the Crook Golden Fleece A and won by three points.

Tow Law & District League

Tow Law Rose and Crown held on to their share of the top spot when they only dropped one point to the visiting Tow Law Dan's Castle B, who only scored when Paul Murray took the final point. The home winners were Anthony Ward, Chris Bowes, Derek Mowbray and Lee Mowbray. This victory kept the Rose and Crown level with Tow Law North Point, who only dropped one point at Tow Law New Market A.

Hamilton Row Black Horse moved just one point behind the King's head after they only dropped one point on their visit to Esh Football Club, who had Chris Neil as their only winner. The visiting winners were Colin Metcalfe, Pat Elliott, John Christelow and Alan Taylor.
