MORE than 400 primary school children have visited Darlington's main library during National Children's Book Week, which ends tomorrow.

The children, mostly from reception and year one and two classes, have toured the library and been entertained by a storyteller.

There has also been a large castle display board on which children have been able to nominate their favourite stories.

Two baby rhyme time sessions are planned at the library tomorrow. Parents and toddlers are invited to the library to join in with the songs and rhymes at 10.30am and 1.30pm. The event is free.

Anyone who enters their baby's name on the library list will also receive a free babyboard book.
