TWO teenagers appeared in court yesterday after a man was left lying in a pool of blood with a broken jaw following a street attack in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Michael John Yarwood, 19, of Hargrove Road, Harrogate and a 17-year-old youth who cannot be named for legal reasons were remanded in custody by Harrogate magistrates to appear at York Crown Court next Friday.
The pair are accused of jointly causing grievous bodily harm with intent to 24-year-old Mark Laurence Taylor, who needed emergency surgery after being punched and kicked as he walked in Hookstone Chase, Harrogate
