A BEAUTY salon is putting aside the latest technology and enticing male customers through the door - with a cut throat razor.
The Hair, Nail, Tan and Beauty salon, in Ridley Place, Newcastle, traditionally specialises in the latest beauty treatments, but is now reviving the old-fashioned method of shaving.
Hairdresser Justine Bell has just completed an intensive wet shaving course in London and she anticipates it will soon become the latest trend.
She said: "Most of what we do at the salon is utilising bang up-to-date technology and that's great, but it's very satisfying to have learned the old-fashioned original skill of shaving with an open razor."
