DETECTIVES in Bishop Auckland are investigating thefts from two garages in The Slack and Pinfold Lane, both Butterknowle, in the early hours of yesterday.
In Bishop Auckland, there was an attempted break-in in Woodhouse Lane and a burglary in Arthur Terrace, between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
A blue and yellow road roller was stolen from a building site at Escomb School between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.
