TWO health clinics are opening in Redcar to cater for the needs of people with full-time jobs.
Health workers are opening an evening and weekend clinic at Redcar Health Centre.
They will be held from 8.30am to noon today and on every alternate weekend. The second clinic will be open every Tuesday, from February 11, from 4.30pm to 6pm.
Health visitor Heather Collins said: "We are very conscious that many people are unable to attend our clinics during the day, usually because of work and other commitments. We have decided that we need to try and help busy mums and dads by running clinics at times that suit them.
"We hope that these two clinics will make life easier for those people who would like to ask us for advice for their children or themselves, but often have to rely on family or friends to attend clinics on their behalf."
