A Darlington consulting company is hosting an art exhibition to mark the opening of its premises.

KWM Consulting, in Darlington, is hosting the exhibition to welcome clients and the public to its new premises at Ashburn House, in Grange Road.

The one-off exhibition will be a showcase for local artists, five of whom have been approached to display and sell their works in the 19th Century building.

Artists displaying their work include Wendy Thompson, who has drawn a series of office caricatures, Richmond-based Jill Clay, who specialises in silk paintings, and Eric Thompson, with his watercolours of local scenes.

The Yarm art group Iz-art, which features works by artists Alexis Paisley and Jemima Blazdell, will also be participating in the celebratory exhibition

KWM Consulting, formerly known as Kendall White Millar, has been operating in Darlington for 12 years.

It recently moved to Ashburn House, a Victorian villa built in 1880, to allow it to continue its development and expansion in the town.

The free exhibition will be open on Saturday, from 11am to 3pm.
