A GIRL accused of trying to kill her younger brother has made a second court appearance.
The 12-year-old is charged with the attempted murder of her nine-year-old sibling at the family home, in the South Shields area, last month.
She appeared before South Tyneside magistrates on January 28 when she was remanded into the care of the local authority.
Yesterday, the girl was back before magistrates, sitting in South Shields as a youth court panel, when the case was further adjourned.
She was again remanded into the care of the local authority pending the next hearing, on March 5.
