OLD girls of a former juvenile jazz band are invited to relive memories at a re-union in March.
Leadgate Spartans, which attracted members from across north-west Durham in its hey-day in the 1970s, played at fairs, carnivals and competitions throughout the North-East and beyond until it disbanded in 1998.
The get-together at Leadgate Social Club will include a buffet and a display of old photographs of the band projected on to a big screen.
It is being staged at the club, in St Ives Road, Leadgate, on Thursday, March 13, from 8pm.
Tickets costing £1 are available from Yvonne, at Salon 19 in Watling Street, Leadgate, or from David Overall on (01207) 581476.
