A mobile task force of police and council officers will be touring north-west Durham next week.
The Multi Agency Resource Centre (Marc) run by Derwentside Crime and Disorder Partnership aims to help residents in isolated villages.
The mobile centre, bought with money from the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund, takes police and staff from Derwentside District Council, Durham County Council, Derwentside Primary Care Trust and Neighbourhood Watch.
As well as helping to tackle crime concerns, it will also offer advice on a range of issues, from health to nuisance neighbours.
During the next month, it will visit ahout 20 towns and villages in Derwentside.
The bus will be in the Co-op store car park, Annfield Plain, near Stanley, tomorrow, from noon to 8pm.
Acting Sergeant Steve Dewhirst, Marc co-ordinator, said: "We welcome members of the community to come along and discuss any policing or other local matters they wish."
