YOUNG boxers are taking to the streets in a bid to raise money for the trip of a lifetime.
About 40 members of Spennymoor Boxing Academy are taking part in a sponsored run to boost funds for a training week in Canada in May.
They are collecting sponsorship for the event, on Saturday, March 15.
It is hoped that further funds will be raised through raffles and a bonus ball event on Friday night at Quinns Inn, Spennymoor.
