dancing, aqua aerobics and yoga are among events being held in Sunderland as part of International Women's Day.
The More than a Woman event will be held in the Sandhill Centre, Grindon Lane, Sunderland, from 10am to 4pm, today.
Michelle Smith, who has helped organise the day, said: "It is being held in the true spirit of International Women's Day and provides a superb occasion for local women of all ages to relax and pamper themselves."
Participants are advised to take swimming costumes and training shoes. A free creche will be available, but places are limited
