A MAN was arrested and later released following an incident involving a knife during a seminar at York University, police said last night.
Officers were called when the man, believed to have been carrying a knife, entered a classroom during a seminar.
Tutor Dr Pat Palmer, said: "At no stage did I feel things were out of control, but they were very weird. He happened to be wearing a knife. I didn't even see it."
A police spokesman confirmed that the man was later released without charge.
