The Friends of Ripon Cathedral end their present run of lectures with a talk called Some Blokes, Some Birds, Two Bears and a Big Cat. The Reverend Derek Ching will be unveiling some of the symbolism found inside the cathedral building. The lecture starts at 3pm on Sunday. Admission costs £2.
QUIZ NIGHT: Northallerton Cricket Club, in Farndale Road, Romanby, will hold a quiz night in aid of Mental Health Support on Friday, March 28, from 7.30pm. Tickets are £4, available on (01609) 780758.
CARITY CONCERT: Northallerton Methodist Choir and Northallerton Silver Band will perform a charity concert in the town hall on Saturday, April 5, at 7.30pm.
