THE emergency services have been praised for their efforts following the arson attack at Middleton St George school, near Darlington.
At a meeting of the village's parish council, chairman Brian Jones thanked the police and fire brigade for their work after the fire which destroyed part of the school.
Sergeant Mark Ralphs, of Darlington police, said two 14-year-old youths have been bailed pending further inquiries
