A CLUB singer could repeat her five minutes' of fame when larger than life rocker Meatloaf visits the North-East.
Lorraine Crosby performed on the demo tape to the American legend's 1993 hit I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That).
She was invited to join the backing vocalists accompanying Meatloaf during a performance at Whitley Bay Ice Rink, North Tyneside, while on tour the following year.
Several years down the line, and still performing the region's club circuit, Lorraine was briefly re-united with Meatloaf via a link-up recorded by Century FM radio DJ Paul "Goffy" Gough.
During the interview, to be played in full on Goffy's show on Wednesday, Lorraine said she would love the chance to sing with Meatloaf when he performs at Newcastle's Tele-west Arena, on November 24.
"I don't know if it will happen," said Lorraine, of North Tyneside. "I asked the question on Goffy's show and he said he would see what he could do."
The original link-up with Meatloaf came via her then-manager Jim Steinman, as he wrote songs for Meatloaf's album Bat Out of Hell.
