SAKS Darlington is celebrating after being shortlisted for the Northern finals of the hairdressing "Oscars".
Saks Darlington has been selected to compete in a national hair competition, the L'Oreal Colour Trophy.
The team is one of 13 Saks branches to win a place in the regional finals.
Ruth Roddam, manager of Saks Darlington, senior stylist Peter Lord and senior therapist Julie Greenwood, are through to the finals at Le Meridian Palace Hotel, in Manchester, on April 8.
The competition gives salons throughout the UK the opportunity to aspire to be the best in the industry.
The winner of the category will take part in the final, which will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on May 19.
