The widow of a Royal Marine has given birth to a daughter just 12 days after her husband died in a crash whilst returning from his final mission in Iraq.
Captain Philip Guy, 29, was due to fly back to Britain to be at the birth of his daughter Emily when his helicopter crashed in the Kuwaiti dsert on March 21.
His wife Helen Guy gave birth on Tuesday evening at Airedale Hospital, in Skipton, North Yorkshire. Captain Guy's funeral can now take place at Holy Trinity Church, Skipton, on April 11.
