A SCOUTMASTER was found guilty last night of two indecent assaults on a scout.
Paul Woodruff, 41, of Lowfield Avenue, Brambles Farm, Middlesbrough, had earlier admitted another indecent assault on the same boy and also to downloading Internet child pornography, the jury were told at Teesside Crown Court.
But they were sent home for the night after failing to reach a verdict on a charge that he raped the youngster.
Woodruff who was a leader of a Scout group in Ormesby, Middlesbrough, was reported to Cleveland Police as a paedophile in a letter from the former scout.
The jury will continue their deliberations today.
The charges date back to between May 1995 and May 1997.
