Among those receiving prizes will be Rosamunde Vidler, who will receive the Mackey Trophy for best A-Level results, after achieving four A grades at A-Level and the Greenwell Endeavour Trophy, which recognises outstanding effort, progress and contributions made at school.

Andrew McGuinness is to be awarded the Bainbridge Trophy for best GCSE results, after gaining four A* and six A grades.

Students Paul Beattie, Emma Pearson and Deborah Skelton will receive Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Awards for their services to the community.

The trio have completed 200 hours of voluntary work, leading sports activities while taking part in the Millennium Volunteers initiative.
