A FOOTBALL team from North Yorkshire are celebrating after winning the county's inter-school equivalent of the FA Cup on Monday night.
The under 14s from Leyburn's Wensleydale School made it through to the final of the competition to play Tadcaster Grammar and finished the game convincing 5-0 winners, collecting the Eddie Roberts Trophy.
"We're really proud of them," said teacher Lee Wasden.
"All of them are hoping they can go on to emulate ex-pupil Michael Dawson, who turned out for the England under-21s recently."
