POLICE in County Durham have raised concerns about a woman who has not been seen since Tuesday.
Tracey Hewitt, of no fixed address, but who has family in Newton Aycliffe, is described as being "severely depressed".
The 27-year-old, whose birthday was yesterday, is frequently seen in the Newton Aycliffe, Darlington and Stockton areas but her family have received no news of her since last week.
Detectives, who say they are "anxious" to find her, are now appealing for information in relation to Miss Hewitt's whereabouts.
She is described as being 5ft 1in, of medium build, blue eyes, a fair complexion, and long mousy-brown hair. She is believed to be wearing a brown fleece jacket and tracksuit bottoms.
Anyone who has seen Miss Hewitt or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call Newton Aycliffe police on (01325) 314401.
