AN ART student is to show a collection of his work at the Darlington Art Shop.
Jon Stasiak, of Cockerton, Darlington, is in the final year of an art degree at Huddersfield University.
It will be the former Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College student's first solo exhibition, and the culmination of four years' work.
On display will be a variety of mediums including photography and landscapes in oil and acrylic.
A photograph of Stanhope Park, taken while he was studying in Darlington, will also be on display.
After university Jon hopes to complete a Masters degree in art or work on commissions.
He said: "No matter where I am studying or working, I'll always be travelling back to Cockerton where I grew up and where my family home is. I am pleased to be able to have my first solo exhibition in Darlington, especially in the Art Shop, as it is where my interest in art began."
Some of Jon's work can be seen at http://groups.msn.com/paintingsanddrawings.
The display can be seen from Monday for three weeks.
