A PACKAGE of summer entertainment has been unveiled.

Tony Peers Productions, together with Kay Carmen and Howard Layton Productions, will return to the Scarborough Spa following their success last year.

Tony Peers will provide six shows a week at 8pm, from June 3 to September 27, which will include Minstrel Memories on Mondays and Tuesdays, and a new Summer Spectacular on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Traditional favourite The Good Old Days will be on Fridays and Saturdays, while Dick Whittington and His Cat will be on Fridays, at 7.30pm, from July 25 July to August 29.

In addition to the four principal vocalists and dancers there will be guest comedians throughout the summer, with special guest star Maurice Lee, formerly of the Grumbleweeds, performing every Saturday from July 26 to August 30.

On Sunday evenings, Kay Carmen and Howard Layton will present Sunday Night Variety Star Time at 8pm, from Sunday to September 14.

Special guests this season include comedians Ken Goodwin and Norman Collier, together with singer Joan Regan and the West End star Lydia Griffiths.
