AN open air performance of Romeo and Juliet will take place later this month in Hartlepool.
The Chapterhouse Theatre Company will bring the tale to Ward Jackson Park as part of Hartlepool's week-long youth arts festival Word of Mouth.
On Tuesday, June 24, there is an opportunity for school groups to see the play in a schools gala performance at 1pm.
The following day, at 7.30pm, there is a public show.
The schools gala performance will take place on the main field in Ward Jackson Park, while the evening performance will be at the rear of Place In The Park, near the Elwick Road entrance.
For the evening event, the park grounds will open at 6.30pm for picnics, and anyone wishing to attend is asked to bring rugs or seating, as well as waterproofs in case it rains.
