SMALL businesses are being offered free advice on how to cut through legislative red tape.

The Yorkshire and Humber Chambers of Commerce's Red Tape Campaign mobile advice surgery will be in the High Street car park in Stokesley on Thursday.

The Chambers of Commerce are at the forefront of a campaign to help businesses to reduce the problems they encounter with beaurocracy.

Backed and funded by the regional development agency Yorkshire Forward, the 18-month Red Tape Project ends in July next year.
